In response to the ever increasing demand for sustainable packaging for personal care products, Vetroplas, in collaboration with Spanish aluminium bottle factory partner, Envases, is now able to offer an expanded range of bottles with newly tooled necks enabling the pairing with Silgan’s foam pump dispensers.

The instant foam pump dispenser has long been the preferred choice for many personal care brands prioritising a creamy, rich, propellant-free formulation. Foam based products are easy to both apply and rinse on the face, hands and hair, and Silgan’s foam pumps use a precise mixture of liquid and air reducing water use when compared with traditional liquid solutions.

All of Silgan’s foamers offer the same benefits: propellant-free instant foam with a single gesture, intuitive and smooth actuation, stable foam quality and precise dosage; foam density can be tailored to suit each customer’s needs by using various combinations of engine output and mesh size.

Furthermore, Silgan also offers the F2 pump’s base cap, nozzle and overcap in PCR PP resin. Depending on the pump configuration, PCR content will account for approximately 38-42% of the total weight of the pump, including all internal parts.

Combined with the many green credentials of aluminium bottles; lightweight, infinite recyclability and the option of up to 100% recycled (PCR) raw material, this pairing makes for a compelling sustainable choice.

Vetroplas can now offer aluminium bottles in sizes 100ml – 700ml with a Silgan handheld foamer, all of which benefit from Envases’ experience and expertise in decoration: printing, coloured base coats, hot stamping with different foil colours, spot varnish, haptic effect inks etc.

Additionally, one of the very latest decoration processes pioneered by Envases is that of integrated silk screen printing, allowing for elaborate designs incorporating the use of offset and silk screen printing on the same bottle.
